Soon after Myles Garrett’s name popped into the first team honor, LeBron James took to social media, expressing his happiness with his fans and the NFL athlete. The basketball legend shared a photo story of Garrett on his Instagram. The story had a big cutout picture of Garrett facing front, looking confident. It also included a small size of picture of Garret, in action, from one of his games. And the whole picture had bold words “ALL-PRO,” “First-Team,” and “Myles Garrett” written on it.
James, who seemed happy with the new accomplishment of his friend, also shared some clapping emoticons on the story, and wrote a message, “Congrats my brother!!” on it, tagging Garrett. James is proud of Garrett, and why shouldn’t he be? This is the third time in Garrett’s career, when he has received the first-team honor. Other than this year, he received this honor in 2020 and 2021. Additionally, the defensive end received the second-team honors in 2018 and 2022. Now, in total he has 5 All-Pro honors to his name.
As he continues to shine on the field, earning a Pro Bowl nomination earlier this month, James is proud of him. Interestingly, Garrett once expressed that he wants to become the LeBron James of his franchise. And with recent accolades, it seems the Browns’ player is on the right path.
