Kirk Cousins had an early-season end this time due to his torn Achilles in the Week 8 game. Although his season didn’t go as expected, his offseason might turn into a good one, as per the opportunities around. Amid this free-agent dilemma, Devante Adams now has a message for the quarterback.

A couple of weeks ago, the Minnesota VikingsrestedQB showed his interest in joining Bill Belichick and his potential team, the Atlanta Falcons. He also said that he won’t be turning down any opportunities on his way. But which offer would he choose, as Adams has presented another offer to Cousins.

According to a latest update on Kirk Cousins’ trade dilemma, “JPAFootball” on X, posted a statement of Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams. As per the post, Adams praised Cousins and might be “trying to recruit Cousins to the Raiders.” When asked about which quarterbacks he would like to catch “passes” from, besides Aaron Rodgers, Adams named Cousins.

Adams appeared on inaugurl 2 Gs in a Pod show, where he said, “It depends on what you’re saying. If we’re talking about a dude that can just find somebody, I mean, I like Kirk Cousins. I think Kirk Cousins is a really good quarterback. As far as availability, I think Kirk’s a good player.” Although in the podcast he ranked CJ Stroud on number 1, he highlighted the “availability” of Cousins, hinting his recruitment wishes for the quarterback.

Similar to the Vikings, the future of the quarterback position in Las Vegas is unclear, raising the chances of a collaboration between the former NFC North rivals in Las Vegas. After Jimmy Garropolo’s benching situations, backup QB Adian O’Connel, too, couldn’t showcase his mobility on the field, so the Raiders too would want a new QB for the next season.

Kirk Cousins is currently in the last year of his fully guaranteed contract. He signed a one-year extension of $35 million with the Vikings in March 2022, extending his tenure till the end of 2023 season. However, the extension wasn’t just about the money; it also secured Cousins with the team in the future, giving him full control of his future in 2023.

Despite being with the Vikings since 2018, Cousins has had a full no-trade clause, meaning any trade would need his approval. This limits the Vikings from initiating any trade talk without his consent. So, it’s still unclear whether the Vikings will trade the quarterback or not. On the other hand, Cousins, who first expressed his desire to stay with the team, is now won’t be turning down any upcoming opportunity for his trade.
