With the Super Bowl heading to Las Vegas, Nevada for the first time in this history, the NFL is breaking the bank for the broadcast. Super Bowl LVIII is destined to become one of the masterful broadcasts of any sporting event. And in partnership with CBS, the game will witness many new inventions, including robotic and ‘doink’ cameras’.
As the Kansas City Chiefs endure the challenge of the San Francisco 49ers, the whole country will be on the edge of their seat. But the NFL has made sure that this becomes one of the finest experiences for all the viewers at home!
The Super Bowl is going to be a joy to watch

This Super Bowl on CBS will bring forth many interesting ways to consume the game. For the February 11 game, there will be 165 manually controlled cameras at the Allegiant Stadium. These will be covering the usual angles for the play, the commentators’ box, and the stadium view.

And there’ll be 24 cameras built-in with 4K zooming capabilities. Along with 20 pylon cameras, making the TDs look and feel even more fantastical. And that is not all!
For the first time, the Super Bowl will be broadcast with the aid of 24 robotic cameras. These cameras do not require any sort of human intervention. And these will broadcast the game from new and interesting angles. For the great plays, the field will also feature 48 Super slow-motion cameras too. And this Super Bowl some features have never been experienced by the fans!
A testament to inventions and technology
With the evolving tech in broadcasting, the NFL is staying on top. The game will be broadcast in association with ‘Nickelodeon’. And the viewers are going to be privy to the first ever ‘Super Bowl Simulcast’. With 23 augmented reality cameras in place, the viewers will have an entertaining time.

And in another first, 6 ‘doink’ cameras will also be in place. These cameras will be fitted inside the goalposts and will provide a fun way to experience those last-minute field goals. Since the game will be played in a domed stadium, the Super Bowl will also be broadcasted with the help of 5 Sky & fly cams, attached to the ceiling of the dome.
