The Philadelphia Eagles were caught off guard when their standout offensive lineman went down. Yes, you heard that right. Lane Johnson has been declared injured and will not continue to play in the game against the Saints. The man had a hard tackle and was unable to rise up and continue. Right now, the speculations are that the OT suffered from a concussion and the medical team is examining him. Also, Lane Johnson cannot stop vomiting, which does not look good.
The Eagles found themselves in serious jeopardy, but the fans may thank God that they had a backup plan in place. The team prepped Fred Johnson, who stepped in as a replacement, and the experienced OT will tremendously benefit the team and may aid in increasing defensive strength. On the other hand, the Saints will hunt for creative methods to penetrate this defense in order to stand tall. The game’s momentum is currently dead equal, and it will be interesting to see who can emerge victorious despite the odds.
