Lamar Jackson has made a huge name for himself in the NFL! As the Baltimore Ravens notched a 41-31 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during Week 7, Lamar Jackson’s stats are truly impressive. And, no one has given him the biggest shoutout as his teammate, Zay Flowers, who on the other hand, had to face an injury.

Taking to his Instagram account, Ravens’ WR Zay Flowers shared the post by Ravens, naming the five players with more career games, that have 5+ touchdown passes and zero interceptions. Tagging Jackson through his IG account, @new_era8, Flowers mentioned the GOAT emoji.

According to the reports, as Jackson threw for 281 yards and five touchdowns, he has now tied with various legends, as he has pitched himself at no. 3. Lamar has surpassed Aaron Rodgers, as well as Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, with his fifth career game.

Only two quarterbacks, Tom Brady and Drew Brees, have more such performances,  with eight such games each. But, what distinguishes Jackson is that he has achieved the mark with just 84 career starts, while others have at least 200 starts.

And, Flowers was ecstatic over Jackson’s achievement. Flowers had signed a fully guaranteed $14 million contract. Selected 22nd overall in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Ravens, the teammates share a really special bond. When Jackson spent time in the offseason in Florida with Flowers, he shed light on their bond. He remarked, “I can’t really describe our chemistry ”“ I believe it’s great; I can say that.”

Now, as Jackson is excelling on the fields, with a passer rating of 118.0 across seven games, with prospective stats of 4,400 passing yards and 900 rushing yards this season, Flowers is highly excited for him. But as he succumbs to an ankle injury, his future is shrouded in doubt.
