Travis Kelce has been proving there’s life beyond the end zone—one acting gig at a time. Whether it’s cracking jokes on SNL or landing a role in FX’s horror series Grotesquerie, the Chiefs’ TE has been dipping his toes into Hollywood without missing a beat on the field. And it looks like he’s not the only NFL star making moves off the turf. Another MVP quarterback is now stepping into the spotlight, following a similar path.
And yeah, you’re spot on with that one. We’re talking about the two-time MVP QB Lamar Jackson. As per the PEOPLE, the Ravens‘ QB is all set to make his acting debut in an upcoming episode of Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 4. “I’m so excited for fans to see me in this new role and thrilled to be a part of Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” Jackson said in a statement to PEOPLE.
The 28-year-old QB will make a guest appearance in just one episode. His character’s name? E-Tone. His character personality? Well, according to the QB, E-Tone is “a deadly, dangerous character,” and “you don’t want to get on his bad side.” On top of that, E-Tone is also described as an “intimidating figure not to be messed with.”

Well, the QB’s desire to appear in the show is finally getting fulfilled. Oh yeah, almost a year and a half ago, Jackson hinted at his desire to join the show back in December 2023. “Raising Kanan so Gas⛽️I wanna be in a few episodes🤣🤣,” he stated. Fast forward and the guy’s all set to hit the big stage.
According to rapper 50 Cent, who is a producer of the show, Jackson could appear on Friday night at when the show airs at 8 p.m. ET. As for his actual role? It’s still a mystery. But one thing’s clear—we’ve got another NFL star stepping into the acting game right after Travis Kelce. Because let’s be real—Kelce has been making Hollywood moves for a while now.
After stealing the spotlight on SNL, the TE took on a role in FX’s horror series Grotesquerie. To make things more interesting or let’s just say to add another one in his filmography, he’s locked in for a cameo in Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore 2. And no doubt, he isn’t going to stop there. And now, looks like Jackson is ready to take a page out of it.
Meanwhile, the veteran TE has taken a detour from the NFL world after wrapping up his 12th season with the Chiefs and is now supporting Taylor Swift through her personal struggles.

Travis Kelce is in a desperate state
After wrapping up her record-breaking Eras Tour, Taylor Swift was all set to take a breather with Travis Kelce, who had just finished his NFL season. And yeah, the two did sneak away for a private getaway. But now? Things are looking a bit rough, considering Swift’s struggles. Swift is dealing with a lot on the personal front, and Kelce is doing everything he can and is in a “desperate” state to shield her from the public eye, as per Mail Online’s sources.
The thing is, Swift, has found herself entangled in a couple of personal crises. First, she found her name unexpectedly involved in the ongoing legal battle between her close friend Blake Lively and actor Justin Baldoni. Amidst all the chaos, the Chiefs’ TE is trying his best to be there for Swift.“Travis is Taylor’s rock, and he will do anything and everything he needs to do to keep her safe,” reported by one of the Mail Online’s sources.
“This has been a stressful time for them, but they’re focusing on each other,” another insider reported to Mail Online. “Taylor is Travis’s top priority right now, and he just wants to make sure she’s okay.” To avoid the ongoing drama, Taylor Swift has distanced herself from the public eye. But one thing’s for sure: Travis Kelce is out there supporting her as she navigates her personal struggles.
