Stroud found himself in his second playoff game on the opposing side. The first was a week earlier when the Houston Texans triumphed over the Cleveland Browns with a resounding 45-14 victory. Going up against Baltimore’s formidable defense in the AFC divisional round, he completed 19 of 33 passes for 175 yards. But, he fell short of reaching the end zone.
Despite his efforts, the Texans couldn’t overcome the Ravens’ defensive prowess. Still, Stroud didn’t hold any grudge against Jackson, and he stated, “He’s a hell of a quarterback, he can run, he can throw. He’s definitely an underrated thrower. He was tossing around in the wind today, you know. I’m really just a fan of his, got to talk to him after the game.”
