A few years from now, when people talk about the Baltimore Ravens, it’ll go like this, “The Legend of Lamar Jackson.” But the Ravens fans would agree that no matter how well the QB performs, he’s gonna get criticized for one thing or another. Pretty wild, huh? But as they say, “The higher you rise, the harder they will try to bring you down.” Jackson couldn’t agree more with it.

Did someone ever ask why? The two-time MVP entered the NFL with a reputation and holds the record of the youngest QB to start a playoff game. But Jackson amassed all the haters due to his struggling playoff record. All things considered, a veteran of the game he is, the QB sure knows how to shut his haters up. “Someone else with a weaker mind or soul, with what I’ve seen, they’d be like, Damn!” Jackson declared. “I don’t think other people would be able to sit here and take what’s happened to me.” And if you ask him how to shut his haters up, he’d say this, “I gotta prove them wrong and prove me right at the end of the day.”

That said, if you ask any Ravens fans how’s he gonna do that? The answer lies in a simple statement. The guy’s gotta lift the Super Bowl title and what could be a better season than this? There are certain greatest QBs of the league who retired on a high note with extravagant career earnings, but to make a name to remember, Jackson has to get a Super Bowl.

Honestly, if the results aren’t great, it’s not surprising—dude’s gotta deal with a ton of criticism. “I always say this: People hated Jesus,” Jackson said. “Not to compare myself to Jesus, but it’s like, if he got hated and he still was a good person and still did follow through with his purpose, why can’t I?” Well, that said, the QB looks serious for this season and he’s sighting the title as well.

As for the Ravens, they thrashed the Houston Texans in a one-sided 31-2 game – more of a disastrous loss for the Houston team. With this win, the Ravens are locking up the AFC North title, and next up? The Super Bowl and who knows if the QB defends his MVP title as well.

There’s no doubt that Henry has amassed nearly 1,500 rushing yards while carrying the ball to the end zone 13 times. But, you can’t take Jackson out of the frame for too long, can you? In the Texans’ win, Jackson did what he usually does. The QB rushed for 168 yards and racked up solid 2 TDs. And that’s the reason why Henry thinks Jackson is the rightful contender for the MVP. “He deserves it,” Henry said on the QB getting the MVP. “He’s been doing this for a long time, and it’s only right for him to get a third one. The stats prove it.”

On the flip side, Lamar  Jackson has got serious competition from Bills‘ QB, Josh Allen who is turning out to be phenomenal this season. Not to forget when the QB made history by racking up 6 TDs against the Rams. All this considered, Jackson got a chance of a lifetime to make the haters eat their words, and winning the third MVP and Super Title can make that happen.
