Does Lamar Jackson's car collection inspire you, or is it just over-the-top extravagance?

Baltimore Ravens quarterback, Lamar Jackson, boasts a net worth of $40 million. That puts him above Jalen Hurts’s $30 million and Justin Herbert’s $25 million. He has also earned numerous accolades, including the NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in 2019, and has led his team to multiple playoff appearances. No doubt he loves enjoying the fruits of his labor.

The NFL player has an enviable collection of cars, which showcases his love for speed, comfort, and sophistication. Here’s all we know about his fleet!

This old-school muscle automobile gives vintage vibes. Jackson owns one of these cars in his collection because he is aware of the fascination and intrigue they evoke. It boasts a lustrous orange paint job, immaculate chrome wheels, and outside drip rail moldings. Red leather upholstery, a bucket seat, and chrome accents adorn the inside, making this classic as immaculate as possible throughout.

The Chevelle’s 5.0L V8 engine, which produces 375 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, is coupled to a 3-speed manual transmission under the hood. The vehicle takes 6.0 seconds to get from 0 to 60 mph.

1969 Chevelles were dubbed as ‘America’s most popular mid-size car.’ A single chrome bar connected quad headlights with a front grille which is made out of ABS plastic. The base price would be between $99,200-$110,000.

2019 Mercedes-Benz SL Class

Lamar Jackson’s next ride will be this Mercedes coupe, which is more contemporary. The inside of the SL550 features leather seats and wood panels throughout, with a glossy black finish. With a 4.7L Twin-Turbo V8 engine and a 9-speed shiftable automatic transmission, the SL Class can produce 449 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque very quickly. In 4.9 seconds, the car speeds from 0 to 60 mph.

Effortless power and refined performance are the main reasons people choose this car. Though it is not as fast as other sports cars like the Porsche 911, it is still quick.

Its cost would be from $90K to $190K.

2022 Rolls-Royce Ghost

Most of the time, Rolls-Royce comes to mind while thinking about luxury. The American muscle, an everyday rider, was Jackson’s first choice for covering his bases, and the 2022 Ghost now ties everything together.

Jackson’s Rolls-Royce is an iconic vehicle that lives up to the hype. The car’s iconic grille, which is flanked by eye-catching headlamps and a tall hood that unites the whole for that exemplary appearance, defines its exterior.

The 6.7L Twin-Turbo V12 engine in the Ghost produces 563 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque when paired with an 8-speed automated transmission. The car proves that performance and luxury can coexist with a 0–60 time of 4.6 seconds.

The price of this car starts at $398,850 and goes up to $442,700 depending on the modifications. Though it is considered an entry-level model, this car is still out of reach for many. Well, Lamar Jackson’s NFL job really puts him in a position where he can enjoy the luxuries life has to offer.

According to celebrity net worth, Jackson is worth $40 million. However, his contract deal with the Ravens, announced in May 2023, had a $72.5 million signing bonus. His current yearly pay blows that amount away at $52 million.

Jackson is recognized for revitalizing the Ravens franchise by motivating his teammates to dominate their league, despite suffering season-ending leg injuries in 2021 and 2022 and enduring a turbulent contract extension negotiation that lasted more than two years.

According to Forbes, Jackson was the highest-paid NFL player in 2023 based on his on-field earnings, and he was included in their list of “30 Athletes Under 30” for 2024. It’s odd that celebrity endorsement deals haven’t followed, but we have a good feeling a Super Bowl ring will soon change that. What do you think?
