After being the subject of doubt by analysts such as Stephen A. Smith, Lamar Jackson is here to prove them wrong! The 7-3 Baltimore Ravens are up against the 5-4 Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football. A post shared by @ESPNStatsInfo is sure to bring smiles to Lamar Jackson believers’ faces. The post announced that Jackson will be entering the Bengals game with 79.5 rushing yards per game. That’s the most by any starting QB against a single opponent since 1950! Under him, the Purple Pain is currently 7-3 and at the top of the AFC North Division.

But not many are willing to place their trust in him. Shannon Sharpe, speaking on ESPN’s First Take, said, “Do you realize that Lamar Jackson has thrown just as many touchdowns as Mac Jones? Lamar Jackson has fumbled the ball 10 times. … Do you realize Lamar Jackson has as many turnovers as touchdown passes?”

Keaton Mitchell’s family has a record of football greatness

The NFL’s official X account shared, “Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell is the only player in NFL History with 170+ Yards and 2+ Touchdowns in their first 10 career carries.”. He also claimed his place as one of the fastest running backs in the league. Now, even if the Ravens do not win on Thursday, they have two reasons to be proud of, nonetheless.

Rookie Keaton Mitchell is following in his father’s footsteps. His father, Anthony Mitchell, was a defensive back for Tuskegee University. And like his son, he too went undrafted before being signed with the Ravens. When he watched his son play, Keaton recalled the advice his father gave him. “My dad told me all the time, undrafted, everybody overlooked you. So, just keep that chip on your shoulder.”
