The Rams and Saints are going at it in a nailbiter, and the game couldn’t get any more exciting. Both teams are desperate to clinch a win in this matchup as it will decide whether either will be able to pave the way to the playoffs. Everything was fine and dandy before Kyren Williams took a hit and was ousted.

The Rams are in the lead for now, but that might soon go away if Williams doesn’t return to the game. Williams is their prominent running back, and losing him might cost the Rams this game. It’s halftime, and the Rams have a comfortable lead, but that might change if the Saints decide to do something about it.

Of course not! What transpired was not under his control. A tweet from Dov Kleiman shows what went down on the field. It was the second quarter, and Kyren Williams was heavily tackled by two Saints players simultaneously. His helmet came off as the three of them went to the ground. Williams covered his face after taking that fall and was slow to get up.

Per Kleiman, the running back was injured and took a trip to the medical tent after the play ended. Per the latest developments, luckily, Williams is back on the field and playing without any discomfort. It is noteworthy that Kyren Williams has the most rushing yards for the Rams on their roster. So, losing him would have left the Rams in a certain doom.

The Rams had a huge lead over the Saints as the 3 quarter concluded. The Saints need a few back-to-back TDs and a couple of miracles.
