When it comes to fashion in the Kelces’ house. The sibling duo, Travis-Jason, has set their fashion sense poles apart. While Travis walks into Arrowhead Stadium like it’s Paris Fashion Week, picking everything from custom leather fits to high-end streetwear collabs, Jason Kelce goes viral for his pure dad energy, beer-fueled celebrations. In a recent convo, Kylie shared her take on her family’s dressing sense, more so for her husband Jason Kelce’s laid-back approach to style.

To know it all, in a candid chat with Chelsea Handler on her Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast, Kylie Kelce talked about the sibling duo’s style gap, admitting, “Neither one of us are very stylish. We leave that to the other sibling and his family.” We can all admit that ever since Taylor Swift has entered the picture, Travis has upped his dressing game. Kylie even joked saying, “Travis and Taylor show up looking like a Vogue spread, and then there’s Jason, dressed like he just woke up from a nap.” 

While Travis experiments with bold colors and statement pieces, Jason’s go-to fashion pick is “Is it clean? Good enough.” For this contrast, fans can’t help calling Travis-Jason a “NFL’s Odd Couple”, as one is a trendsetter, the other one is a lovable chaos machine in gym shorts. Jason is famous for his laid-back, “dad style,” as he is always seen in his casual wear, no matter the occasion. Jason’s wife Kylie, when asked about Jason’s sense of style, she kept it real without sugarcoating it, and dropped a brutally honest, and hilarious confession.

She revealed Jason’s year-round habit of wearing flip-flops. She said it has become so routine that when he wears actual shoes, people take notice: “He wears them everywhere, so much so that when he goes somewhere with actual shoes on, people are like, ‘Holy s—, he wore shoes.'” Despite the playful jabs, Kylie has strong opinions on men’s footwear, suggesting Birkenstocks as a stylish alternative, “what is the alternative to a flipflop in a beach setting I don’t mind a Birkenstock okay”  She added, “it’s almost like I’ve been desensitized to the fact that he wears flipflops and wears them everywhere.“

At the day’s end, Jason Kelce doesn’t need high fashion to be a fan favorite. His charm, authenticity, and complete lack of concern for what’s “in style” are exactly what make him him. And Kylie, despite roasting his outfits, wouldn’t change a thing. “Listen, he may not be the best-dressed Kelce, but he’s got the biggest heart. And at the end of the day, that’s what really matters.” 

Kylie holds nothing but love for Travis and Taylor

What started with a friendship bracelet at Taylor’s Eras Tour, has now turned into Taylor showing up at Chiefs games in her signature red look, cheering him on alongside his family. And Travis Kelce jetting across the globe to catch up with her concerts. And mind you, Travis loves every bit of it, “I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends.” The Chiefs’ TE embraces her, even memorizes her lyrics to soak in the Swifty energy. But there’s more to it than what we see.

Kylie, on her podcast, told us how the Kelce family got to know about Travis-Taylor relationship before Swift’s public appearance at a KC game on September 24, 2023. “I will say we knew before everyone else knew,” but clarified, “It did not hit the group chat.” As she talked about the couple, Kylie also denied all the rumors of rivalry between herself and Taylor, saying they have a positive relationship within the family. The former Eagles‘ star’s wife also confessed admiring Taylor’s influence on the Chiefs’ TE’s wardrobe.

At this point, it’s no secret that Jason’s wardrobe choices lean more toward dad on a Home Depot run than NFL superstar.  Who could forget when he showed up to an Eagles game shirtless, chugging beer, and wearing a dog mask?
