“Mamba mentality is all about focusing on the process and trusting in the hard work when it matters most”, said Kobe in 2018. “Everyone knows I have had a history and past of not really being able to control my emotions on the field”, Kelce said detailing his struggles.

But, it was Kobe’s philosophy of Mamba mentality, that brought Kelce out of his despair. And turned him into one of the best TEs of our generation. “I think Kobe presented something that was real for everybody”, said Kelce.
“The Mamba Mentality gave you the mind frame and the conscious effort to really focus in on the goal of mind”, said Kelce on his interpretation of Kobe’s mentality. And Kelce will have to be on top of it if he wants to become one of the greatest by winning the Super Bowl again.

To date of 57 Super Bowl-winning teams, only 8 have been able to successfully defend their title. And in Super Bowl LVIII, the Chiefs have the golden opportunity to become the 9th and register their names in the history books.
To reach this lofty goal, the Chiefs must get past the San Francisco 49ers again as they did in Super Bowl LIV by coming from behind and winning 31-20. This time around, Las Vegas will be playing the host.
