Kendall Fuller’s draft in 2016 made him the fourth brother in his family to enter the league. With this, they became the second family to send in their four sons, after Browners (Jim, Joey, Keith, and Ross), and were followed by Gronkowskis (Rob, Dan, Chris, and Glenn).
It was definitely a prideful and happy moment for the family at Woodlawn High in a middle-class suburb of Baltimore, when the four brothers stood at the 50-yard line of a football field and raced to one goal line. As Kendall’s entry marked the fifth annual race among the brothers, they all moved forward with their respective teams to battle against each other during their time. But did the NFL battles bring animosity between them?

The Fuller brothers, originally from Baltimore, all attended Virginia Tech to play football under coach Frank Beamer. As per reports, “Vincent Fuller II (safety) was drafted by the Titans in 2005, while WR Corey Fuller was drafted by the Lions in 2013. Their other two brothers — CB Kyle Fuller was selected by the Bears in 2014, and in April 2016 in the second round of the NFL draft, the youngest brother, Kendall, was drafted by the Redskins.”
This unique achievement marked the first time four brothers from the same college have been drafted into the league. So, how were their feelings? Was there any kind of animosity among each other? Despite being in the same arena, the four share a special bond with each other.
When Kendall was drafted, Kyle expressed, “It’s pretty special. It’s not something we think about every day. But it’s special because it’s the first time there have been four brothers from the same college, so that’s pretty unique. It’s definitely special and a blessing.”
So, after his three brothers were already in the line, how was Kendall different from them?

How was Kendall Fuller different from his three elder brothers?
On Father’s Day, eight years ago, the Fuller brothers’ father, Vincent Fuller, revealed he never planned for his sons to enter the NFL or create a Virginia Tech Legacy. His focus was ensuring they received a good education. After Vincent II’s success, Fuller and his wife Nina Dorsey-Fuller, decided to follow the same philosophy with their other three boys. Despite Fuller’s career transition in 2015, taking over the Woodlawn Villager, a community newspaper, he emphasized the importance of raising his sons with the values of focus, perseverance, and determination.
As per their father, Vincent II is described as focused and driven, Corey exhibits perseverance, Kyle is the toughest and dedicated student of the game, and Kendall, the youngest, combines qualities from all of them, being extremely focused and a winner from a young age. His success is attributed to observing and learning from his older brothers’ experiences.
