Two LA teams made it to the playoffs this year. Both were fighting for their supporters in the City of Angels, who continue to feel the effects of devasting Palisades Pacific wildfires. But if you talk about the tribute—the best one came from the Rams Nation. They didn’t just win their huge Wild card game against the Vikings. Their QB, Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly, ensured she honored those firefighters and first responders putting their lives on the line to save as many as possible.

Just before the game in Arizona, Kelly showed off her eye-catching LAFD Station 68 blue hat on her IG stories. While that hat definitely looked cool on Kelly, her T-shirt and boots were simply astonishing. Stafford’s wife’s next story was her honoring the LA firefighters as she wrote a heart-warming message, “@kbstafford89 honoring the LA firefighters. You could feel the energy of this game and what it represented for everyone back home!” So how did she honor those firefighters who are fighting days and nights to contain the LA blaze?

Well, she wore a black T-shirt whose backside was printed in a touching tribute to LA. Co. Fire Dept. Besides that, she also wore black-colored cowboy boots. And you know what? She wasn’t the only one who appreciated the effort of LA firefighters by her gesture. When Stafford arrived at the State Farm Stadium, he had already been wearing a firefighter hoodie. Then, after a while, his whole team and coaches changed into LAFD T-shirts and jumpers and started warming up on the sidelines.

Besides sending salutes to the LA Fire Department, Stafford and his Rams also send Vikings back to Minnesota. On the day when some considered Vikings as clear favorites because of their 14-win season, Stafford ensured LA had the last laugh. He threw two TDs and no interceptions to guide the Rams into a convincing 27-9 victory. However, coming into the game in Arizona, Stafford and his family were going through their own troubles because of their kids’ sudden hospitalization.

Over the weekend, the mom-of-four shared a photo on her Ig stories that caught the Rams Nation by surprise. Her two daughters were found lying in a hospital bed with a mysterious illness as Kelly wrote, “Last night was long. Back in beds and sleeping, everyone except Hunter. Feels like she drank a Celsius.” She also followed up that post with another update, stating, “Before that tho. They were all smiles getting to go with daddy on his work trip.” However, for some reason, Kelly didn’t reveal the cause of the hospitalization. But Stafford’s family did make it to Arizona despite not being completely well.

On Sunday afternoon, Kelly offered more updates, writing in her Ig stories, “Found our happy place in AZ. I promise we are happy, just still ill.” Now, in her update, a few hours later, Kelly shared a photo where four of her girls were soundly sleeping, “Never ending. My poor girls.” And by the time Stafford’s wildcard game kicked off, one of her girls’ situation got worse as Kelly wrote in her Ig story, “This girl. In the middle of her pukes in the bathroom. Mommy, are we still winning.” That picture also had Stafford taking her daughter in his arms while Kelly wrote a heart-warming message for the two, “She couldn’t wait to be in his arms.”
