Things have been quite tumultuous over the past few days for the Stafford family, amidst the collective tragedy of LA wildfire. However, the Rams‘ solid 27-9 victory over the Vikings in the NFC Wild Card game provided a glimmer of joy to the city. Adding to this, Matthew Stafford‘s wife, Kelly Stafford, shared beautiful moments from the playoff with her daughter on her Instagram handle.
Taking to her account @kbstafford89, Kelly shared the photo of her youngest daughter, Tyler, captioning it, “made bows at school today for a certain game coming up.” The photo shared a close-up of Tyler as she smiled beautifully and beamed proudly at her bow. The bow featured the colors royal blue and gold, which are the hues of the Rams’ uniform.
The heartwarming picture was indeed a relief to the fans, given the Stafford family’s recent hospital visit. She shared an IG Story as her children were in the hospital bed, due to flu-like conditions. Kelly mentioned, “Back in beds and sleeping, everyone except Hunter. Feels like she drank a Celsius”. However, despite this, they traveled to Arizona to watch Matthew play.

Kelly initially harbored doubts about it, as she shared, “There was a huge guilt factor to me going, ‘Should we be on this plane right now?'”. Matthew reassured her, remarking, “We’re gonna be together right now,” and that was that. She made the revelation during the latest episode of The Morning After podcast. In the podcast, Kelly also expressed her helplessness as LA was getting ravaged. However, the Rams’ recent victory over the Vikings was truly a respite for the fans.

In fact, in her podcast, Kelly revealed that her daughter Hunter asked, “Will it be his last game like ever?” to which she replied, “I don’t know the answer to that babe, but any game could be his last.” This prompted the family to join Matthew for the matchup in Arizona, despite just recovering from flu.
Kelly further continued, “It’s nothing compared to what our brave first responders are battling or what many families are facing but I hope it gives a little bit of inspiration of just what this city’s community is capable of.” Kelly has also previously asked her fans and followers to contribute to relief efforts, via Red Cross and LA Food Bank. Even Matthew Stafford reflected on his victory, dedicating it to his LA people who were struggling while thanking everyone who was making their bid to save the city.
