There is no one like Andrew Whitworth! As the NFL veteran turned 43 on Dec. 12, he received a flurry of birthday messages from his fans and well-wishers. With his 17-year NFL career since being drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2006, to transitioning to broadcasting upon retirement, his career indeed reflects his indomitable personality. And, multiple key figures have come forth to celebrate Whitworth’s birthday, cherishing him.
And, one of the special wishes that he received comes from Kelly Stafford, wife of Rams QB Matthew Stafford, who holds Andrew in high regard. Taking to her IG profile, she posted a lovely collage of Whitworth. The first of these pictures displays Matthew, with whom she tied the knot in 2015, as he is gazing at Andrew.
In the second picture, Andrew is holding Matthew’s daughter, as she playfully exchanges a happy look with him. Matthew and Kelly are proud parents of four daughters, Sawyer, Chandler, Hunter, and Tyler.

Captioning this picture, Kelly wrote, “The way multiple people in my family look at you… You’re one of the good ones, lucky to have you in our lives. Happy Birthday @andrewwhitworth77,” as she tagged him. He shares a very close bond with the Stafford family.
As he played for the Los Angeles Rams from 2017 to 2022, he also briefly played alongside Matthew, who joined in January 2021 after being traded from the Detroit Lions. And, together they were part of the victorious Super Bowl triumph in February 2022.
Whitworth was full of praises for Stafford, as noted in the article by Yahoo Sports in 2022, as he stated Matthew’s mentality, saying, “He just wanted all the pressure. He wanted all the accountability.” And, to this day, they continue to share close bonds, not just with Matthew but even with his family, as Kelly wished him. Hence joining the bandwagon with Charissa Thompson amidst the Rams’ victory.
