Last few months have been harsh for Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly Stafford. Earlier when she admitted her jealousy for Taylor Swift for being the NFL’s top-most coverage, many Swifties slammed her for her remark. In addition, even for her perspectives on anything or a festival, Mrs. Stafford has caught the eyes of her haters. Hence, the 46-year-old podcaster has decided something which emulates LeBron James’s path.
Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly Stafford, shared a story on Friday on her official Instagram account. In that new update, she shared a video clip from her podcast, The Morning After, where the mom of four revealed her 2025 plan with tears in her eyes.
Kelly Stafford said, “Even this week, I want to get off social media so bad. I don’t want to be on it anymore. It’s honestly giving me like depressing thoughts.” Saying this, Stafford couldn’t hold back her tears, and her voice shook for a moment. However, gathering her emotions, Kelly continued, “But in the work that we are in, that’s not really an option.” It’s true that any negative comment on social media is extremely harsh for anyone.

Hence, Matthew Stafford’s partner clearly stated that “I’m not going to tell people that I’m going to have tougher skin, because I’m not. I’m a woman in my 30s, and I have feelings.” So, what option has she chosen for herself? Well, in her next statement, she talked about how she is going to deal with such things. She said, “But I am going to just try and do a better job of just remembering that clearly people who are commenting some certain things are unhappy with some situations in their own.”
Hence, via her caption, Rams‘s QB’s wife, Kelly Stafford is “thinking about what I want out of 2025. I’m not leaving social media but I’m set on building a better toolbox this year for how to handle the noise.” With this, she perhaps meant that she isn’t quitting, but will be taking a break from social media whenever she will feel low. Hoping for a better future, the YouTuber said in her next story – “I’m hoping social media is a nicer place by the time my girls decide whether or not they want to have their own accounts someday. But just in case it isn’t..I’m learning all I can about how to have a healthy relationship with it.” Until then, she is likely to emulate LeBron James’s path.
Matthew Stafford’s wife is learning from LeBron James?
In November 2024, LeBron James made a crucial decision for his mental peace. The NBA’s all-time leading scorer posted on X and Instagram that he is stepping away from the social media platforms. While doing this, he re-posted Rich Kleiman’s update, where Kevin Durant’s longtime manager wrote, “We can all acknowledge that sports is the last part of society that universally brings people together. So why can’t the coverage do the same? It’s only click bait when you say it. When the platform is so big, you can make the change and allow us all an escape from real life negativity. I for one find it all a waste of breath.”

While sharing this, James wrote “Amen” as his caption. This came just a day after he called out his haters for constantly labeling him a liar. Hence, he decided to step back. His frustration stemmed from claims he made about watching Dalton Knecht’s college games long before the Lakers drafted him. Critics didn’t believe him, and it clearly got under his skin. Therefore, James bid goodbye to social media with an emotional note: “And with that said I’ll holla at y’all! Getting off social media for the time being. Y’all take care.”
Similarly, Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly Stafford, too is frustrated and shattered with the negative comments sent her way. She is likely to take the similar decision as James from social media.
