It’s season over for the LA Rams quarterback, Mathew Stafford. They wished to replicate their 2021 season, where they were the champs. But this time they lost the divisional game against the Eagles on January 19. The starter for the team was busy for the last 7-8 months. Now, he has finally got some ‘me’ time. And his wife, Kelly Stafford, is with him on their fresh adventures. He is also getting recharged for the new season.

Being a famous signal caller in the league comes with its own set of responsibilities. He couldn’t go on outings with many friends. So, now that he has time to meet them, why let it go? He, along with the families of his friends, former NFL QB Jimmy Clausen, and MLB player Trevor Ploufee, went on a Mexico vacation.

Getting refreshed at the El Dorado Golf & Beach Club in San José del Cabo, Clausen’s wife Jessica Clausen shared many photos with their fans. It was great seeing him enjoying some time off the game. Kelly Stafford also admired her husband’s playing golf during the vacation in an IG story writing, “Best View.” Sunshine basking in the background was indeed a great moment captured on camera.

He is just chilling and spending time with his family and daughters. Just a few days back, he was present at the Olympian gymnast Jordan Chiles‘ performance. With his kids, who are also budding gymnasts, he was fully attentive, trying to gather as much insights as he could. His wife was also present there with the family.

While the Rams QB wants time away from the game, the trade rumors of WR Cooper Kupp rocked his franchise. The fans are hoping they retract their move.

Kelly Stafford addresses Cooper Kupp’s trade situation

The signal caller’s better half is carefully watching how the LA air is changing. Kupp has been at the Rams for 8 years now. But the franchise reportedly wants to trade him despite his insistence to continue playing. So, she called the situation a bit over the top during the February 6 episode of The Morning After Media podcast and said, “I will say the trading away of Cooper. I guess I’m just a little, I’m confused because we were one play away from going to the NFC championship and I think if we go, we win.

What’s your perspective on:

Is trading Cooper Kupp a mistake, or a necessary move for the Rams' future success?

However, Kelly Stafford made bombshell claims further about her QB husband, asserting rumors of QB trade were disrespectful to him. With dominance in her voice, she added, “He’s at the end of his career, and wants to win. But there has to be a slight feeling of being valued and respected. I am ready. I feel like I have to be the dog in this situation, being like I want the respect for him that he deserves.” But wait, is that feeling really coming in?

Matthew Stafford has been fairly successful during his stint with the Rams. In 4 seasons, they have qualified for the playoffs thrice and also won the Super Bowl LVI. So, if the HC Sean McVay and the GM Les Snead decide to go ahead with a new signal caller, it would disturb their balance further.

However, the QB is already 37 years old. How much further can they go with him? The situation is getting crazier with each passing week. It can go even further.
