A few weeks ago, brothers Jason and Travis Kelce were reminiscing about the video game ‘Backyard Football’. And they have received a challenger in the form of a fellow NFL star. Can we expect the Kelce brothers to take on the Watt brothers soon?
Before the Super Bowl, the Kelce brothers were hyped about the video game. Shortly after, JJ Watt has issued a sort of challenge to the Kelce brothers. And the duo of Jason and Travis Kelce are not ones to back down. However, Travis has modified the challenge a bit.
Travis Kelce is ready for the game

Before the Super Bowl, the Kelce brothers were talking about their fond memories of the beloved game ‘Backyard Football’. And the former defensive end for the Houston Texans JJ Watt is on board for a game.
“Let’s get it going!”, said the older Kelce brother to JJ Watt on the podcast ‘New Heights’. But the younger brother Travis also roped in the younger Watt as well. “Let’s unite the brothers”, said Travis talking about the LB for the Pittsburgh Steelers TJ Watt.
With the offseason in full swing, the siblings can go ahead with this competitive video game matchup. And after the Super Bowl victory, the Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis can hone his skill in the game once again!
Backyard Football is back on the table
First released in 1999, ‘Backyard Football’ became an instant hit with kids and teenagers. In partnership with the NFL, the game had licensed teams and players. As such a young Kelce spent a lot of hours in the game.

However, the last rendition of the popular game was released in 2010. The sales for the game had declined significantly with the emergence of EA’s ‘Madden’ series. Though, the Kelces and the Watts can bring it back, with their involvement.
