In a recent X post, Bill Simmons shared snippets from his recent podcast, where he was spotted alongside Peter Schrager while discussing the upcoming clash between the Chiefs and the Bills. Simmons wrote on X, “From today’s BS Pod, it’s the biggest game in Josh Allen’s life. Here’s why.” 

They even expressed their view on the Chiefs’ outstanding performance and appreciated Patrick Mahomes’ zeal to fight against the Dolphins in the freezing weather. Simmons even brought other players, including Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce, into the discussion as they believed they played phenomenally in the game. According to them, “Kelce is a killer,” even if his production was down. Further, he remembered how Kelce stole the spotlight against the Bills in the 2020 AFC championship, where the TE got 30 catches and two touchdowns. However, Simmons believes the luck is on Allen’s side, as he said, “This is the year of Josh Allen, like Burrow’s injured, you’re home against the Chiefs.“

Interestingly, Josh Allen also acknowledged the game’s significance, as he believed the Chiefs had brought the best out of them in past games and showed his excitement to face the Chiefs at home. “We finally got a home game,” said Josh Allen.

Both teams have confronted each other six times since Mahomes and Allen have started games. But as it is a home game for the Bills, will Allen be able to get rid of the Madden Curse?

This term is not new to the NFL world. Previously, the Bills were known for their prowess in defense and offense. Moreover, their incredible quarterback, Josh Allen, is known for his impressive performance on the gridiron.
