It’s no secret that the ups and downs in Kayla Nicole’s life didn’t stop her from making headlines. She is the perfect example for broken up souls who have been separated from their ‘soulmates’ by fate or other forces. After breaking up with Travis Kelce in 2022, the social media influencer is not giving up on herself. Her growth on social media is off the charts. The star often connects with millions of fans through her Instagram. But, in her interaction with fans today, a fan asked Kayla about ‘situationships’, and Kayla’s reply came packed with a subtle dig at the Chiefs TE. 

In her recently released Instagram reel on Monday, Kayla Nicole did a collab with Dear Media Studio. While doing a Q & A with fans live, one fan asked her about hitting up her old situationship, and Kayla’s response left no doubts. Kayla responded immediately after reading that question, “Absolutely not, sister!” And added more to it. While she was talking to the fan and motivating them, at some point, it felt like Kayla was talking to herself. 

Continuing her take, she said, “There is a quote that says, ‘ Never let an old flame burn twice. ’ You shouldn’t let this man burn you twice. Like, if you already allowed this person in your life, into your orbit, if he was such your twin, he would’ve still be around. He never would have left.” Maybe she was recalling her old days with Travis Kelce – at least, that’s what the fan’s question was hinting at. She also gave another powerful advice to the fan. 

Kayla added, “He would have known your worth and your value. Seeing the amazing woman that you are and would have done anything in his power to keep you.” But while making the suggestion to the fan like an elder sister, she didn’t let the chance to criticize the cringy trend of situationships go. 

Kayla lastly said, “And the fact that you call them a situationship is a red flag in itself. Because you didn’t say ‘relationship, ’ which means y’all doing just nasty. And there are plenty of other people that do it the nasty way. So, NO… Next caller.”

Four days ago, Kayla was doing her podcast, The Pre-game with Kayla Nicole. In that podcast, the social media star talked about her college days. She expressed harsh feelings on how she was treated by her college BF, who wanted to play in the NBA. When the fan-triggered topic of achieving a dream came up, she reminisced about her college days and her relationship with the basketball player. 

“You know, being young and in love and he was telling me how he wants to be in the NBA and not wants to be, he’s going to be in the NBA. But in his mind, his dreams were attainable.” Kayla said. She also told fans, recalling, “Whereas my dreams—you know I’m a journalism major—I dream of becoming the next Oprah. I remember it clearly. I’m telling him, like, ‘Yeah, you know, I’m going to intern at TMZ,’ which I ended up doing, by the way. I’m going to intern at Open Wary Network, which I ended up doing, by the way. But I’m going to do all the right things, and I’m gonna get to my dream job in X amount of years because I’m following the blueprint.”

She also remembered what the guy had told her while leaving. He poured cold water all over her dreams. “I remember him looking me dead in my face and telling me it’s not that simple. It’s not that simple, and it’s not going to happen.” And it all faded away like a colorful sunset.  That makes us think, ‘What happened after Kayla was abandoned by her college BF?’ She, unfortunately, burned herself again.

Kayla Nicole got into a relationship with Travis Kelce in 2017 and broke up in 2022. The fallout is something that’s public knowledge. Perhaps that’s why she is advising others not to let that fire burn them twice.
