Controversy in the NFL is usual, but this time, one of these NFL controversies stemmed from a golf course. Now, that does not sound good at all. So, apparently, it happened during one of the largest golf tournaments, the NFLPA Classic. One of the most star-studded events, with aggressive football players taking to the greens. And, of course, they are not professionals, so not every shot they make is perfect or straight. And due to these bad shots, Kay Adams experienced her darkest nightmare turn into reality on that golf course.

Everyone has one or other fear in life, right? It could be anything, maybe an animal or something that is about to happen. Interestingly, Kay Adams’ fear was being hit by a golf ball while covering the NFLPA. She was always aware that these 72 players were not professionals and capable of missing shots. This is why she always wished to never get hit by a shot; after all, they are super fast. But sadly for her, this nightmare came true. And she is super angry about it.

For those who missed the funny moment, Kay Adams was on the sidelines conducting an interview. And out of nowhere, Ka’imi Fairbairn’s shot struck her in the neck. Ouch. To be honest, this was the worst possible part for her to be hit. And that definitely caused her much anguish at the time. She posted a video recapping everything that happened and threatened Fairbairn about suing him. The reporter in the caption shared a beautiful quote followed by, “also.. lawyer up, Ka’imi Fairbairn.”

She explained the situation in the reel about what all she was doing to get saved, stating, “I mean, what do we expect 72 of your favourite NFL players who are, you know, yoked out of their minds and competitive and don’t have any accuracy, trying to, you know, Will Zalatoris themselves to a title. I was scared my head was on a swivel. I was very much in the golf cart, I had the shed up the entire time.”

After the incident, she even conducted an angry interview with Fairbairn. And there too she was threatening him with legal actions. On the other hand, the NFL stud was constantly flirting and toying with her. And, while that should have lifted Kay’s spirits, she seems frustrated.
