The Chiefs are set to take on the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs. They are intent on winning the Super Bowl back-to-back. But rumors are swirling around that their superstar TE Travis Kelce is looking to end it all after this season.

Kelce is one of the best, if not the best, tight end of this generation. His game has evolved over 11 seasons. But with his elder brother Jason Kelce seemingly retiring a week ago, NFL insider Michele Tafoya believes the younger brother is also ready to hang up his boots.

“I think Travis Kelce is retiring after this season. Just like his brother”, said Tafoya on the CBS Sports Radio show. This statement sent shockwaves throughout the footballing world. And Tafoya did not back away from defending her claims.

As the host pressed to know more about Kelce’s retirement, Tafoya chuckled a bit. She said, “Well, I can’t really reveal my source”. However, she did lay out some details for the listeners.

Not only will the Chiefs be facing the brutal weather of New York and the rowdy Bills fans, but they’ll also be fighting their history against the Bills. The Chiefs have taken on the Bills 55 times, winning only 24 while losing 29.

And the last two encounters have resulted in losses for the Chiefs. Including the game in the regular season. So the Chiefs will have to pull up their socks, to make sure that Travis doesn’t get a similar send-off like his brother.
