Apparently, Mahomes might not play against the Denver Broncos due to the flu that has taken over him. Though he is ill, no confirmation regarding his absence has come forth. His status still appears to be active on ESPN, but the Chiefs have hinted toward the opposite.

Despite these updates, Dianna Russini appeared pretty confident and reported that Mahomes will get better in time to play against the Broncos.
