After missing game time at the start of the season, Nick Bolton’s recent wrist injury gave people insight into how he could probably be all set to miss more games. The injury list released by the Kansas City Chiefs recently mentioned his game status as ‘out’. Bolton is predicted to be missing at least four games and could miss the action for more than a month, keeping in view his recovery period.

A recent report by the Chiefs highlighted the injury and what it could mean for the team. The footballer suffered an injury in the fourth quarter of the Chargers game and dislocated his wrist during the play. The injury took place when Bolton intercepted Keenan Allen (wide receiver) and ended the game in favor of his team.

He recently underwent surgery for his injury drawing a sigh of relief from Coach Andy Reid, who said, “The one positive is he didn’t have to have any metal put in there.” The statement indicated the hope for Bolton’s speedy recovery being alive and the chances of him making it back to the team for some matches being on the cards.

Nick Bolton also missed three games this season after suffering from a leg injury(sprained ankle) in the game against the Jaguars on 17 September. Now, with the Broncos game in the queue for the Chiefs, all eyes remain set to watch if the Red Army misses its main linebacker amidst other injured players making a comeback.

Will the Chiefs feel Bolton’s absence on the field?

Nick Bolton has been a pillar for the Chiefs in all the matches that he has played. However, his replacement in the form of Drue Tranquill is rightly proving his mettle on the field as well. The Chiefs sacked Traqnquill from the Chargers this offseason and he has gone ahead to make 36 tackles for the side.

This week, the Kansas City Chiefs are going to play against the Broncos, whom they defeated two weeks ago 19-8 in a more or less one-sided affair. While the Broncos made a strong case for a comeback as they registered their second win of the season by defeating the Packers 19-17, their match against the Chiefs is sure to be a tough challenge.

For the Chiefs though, where on one hand Bolton remains missing from the scene, Justin Watson (wide receiver) who did not participate in last week’s game returned to practice in the middle of this week on Wednesday. He suffered from an elbow contusion two weeks ago and now seems all set to continue his gameplay.
