The Kansas City Chiefs coach is ready for the next battle. After coming off an embarrassing Week 8 game against the Denver Broncos, coach Andy Reid took all the mud on himself. Now Reid’s team is bouncing back with a desire to win the next one on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

The Chiefs will be facing off against the Dolphins in the Week 9 game. However, ahead of the matchup, the Chiefs flying to the venue would not be an easy task for the players. Andy Reid recently appeared in a virtual press conference and spoke about his team’s next matchup with the Dolphins in Frankfurt, Germany. He highlighted the challenges he and his team would face during a long 12-hour flight and also revealed the real reasons behind his flying later than the Dolphins.

The 65-year-old head coach said, “It’s a longer plane ride, so you’ve got to make sure that you handle that part right. it’s a different time zone by quite a few hours and so you got to make sure that you handle that part and get some rest on the plane.” He further added that he and his team are therefore taking “everything into consideration.” The team will be checking on their hydration and the practicing routine ahead of the matchup once they get there.

On the other hand, the Fins departed Monday for an 8:30 a.m. CST showdown at Deutsche Bank Park. Meanwhile, despite all the challenges like traveling, packing, dealing with headaches, practice plans, and time zones, Reid will try to consider everything, as he already has a blueprint for the same. Furthermore, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes will definitely need a good amount of rest as in the last matchup in Colorado, he felt flu-like symptoms, in sub-freezing temperatures.
