Reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes is leading the force from the front second season straight. The Chiefs have made a statement with their offensive and defensive prowess, displaying a staggering performance. They have now won seven of their nine games and have looked near-invincible throughout the last two months.

Mahomes has now registered 17 TDs and has covered more than 2400 passing yards in the game. His performance in the last game against the Dolphins speaks volumes of his capabilities as the Chiefs registered a convincing victory by 21-14. The win would not have been possible without the Chief?s defense, though, who played their part to near perfection.

The Chiefs? offense has produced less than 24 points in six of their nine games. Their defense often comes to the rescue and plays a huge part in restricting the opposite team?s offenses. In the game against the Dolphins too, the Chiefs managed to take a decisive lead at the start and the defense proved their worth when Trent McDuffie helped get the ball away from Tyreek Hill.

After the game, in an on-field interview, Patrick Mahomes acknowledged his team?s defensive heroics. The Kansas City Chiefs shared the clip on X where the reporter asked Mahomes, “Is this the best defense that you?ve had as a Chief?” Patrick Mahomes took no time in saying, ?I think it?s the best defense in the NFL, so I mean if we have a defense like that we are gonna get this offense figured out, I promise you, then we?re gonna be a hard team to beat.?

Referring to their shocking loss to the Broncos 24-9, the Chiefs? offense did not show up in the whole game as their nine points came only on the back of field goals. But the comeback against the Dolphins must have given much-needed confidence to their offense as well. Now, eyes remain set on the next challenge ahead of the team.
