“Kansas City Always Shows Up”: Patrick Mahomes Pumped Up for Super Bowl Parade, Planning to Consume Coors Light While Attending Like Last Year

Celebrations have just begun for the Kansas City Chiefs after their spectacular win at the Super Bowl this week. Ahead of the esteemed parade to be held soon, fans are thrilled to see the league heroes celebrate in their hometown. Three-time MVP Patrick Mahomes revealed his plans to celebrate the team’s win in the traditional Chiefs style.

Starting from 6th Street and Grand Boulevard, the parade will make its way south to Union Station, spreading cheer and joy in the streets of Kansas City. Falling on Valentine’s Day, the excitement seems to have doubled, considering the possibility of Taylor Swift attending the parade. Here’s what Mahomes shared about his plans for the much-awaited celebration. Ribbons all around the town!

In a conversation with Pat McAfee, the quarterback was asked about the Chiefs’ plans for the Super Bowl parade. He also joked about his ‘”dad bod” pictures from his victory celebration after beating the Baltimore Ravens, which had sparked a row of jokes and trolling on social media. The QB called it a “bad angle” and said he might “bring it back out.” Patrick rules the internet time and time again!

Mahomes further said that he plans to enjoy his fullest with the Chief Kingdom. “Have a few Coor Lights, im’ma have a good time with my teammates,” he said in the interview, “I enjoy it every time, man. There’s nothing better than the Super Bowl parade, and Kansas City always shows up and shows out.” Going by Mahomes’ words, we can expect a colorful display of victory spirit and festivities to mark their well-earned success. And judging by last year’s Super Bowl parade, the Chiefs know how to party in style!

The Chiefs’ party bus is no stranger to the route going all the way from 6th Street to Union Station, considering their repeated Super Bowl conquests, and much like last time, the fans can expect Mahomes to crush a tonne of cans while stumbling on the bus. One can only speculate if Patrick will whip out his trademark WWE belt for his best Stone Cold Steve Austin impression in order to celebrate his third MVP.

The Chiefs shared their merriment by handing out beers to of-age parade-goers while downing quite a few Coors Light themselves. Mahomes wore the now-iconic tinted ski goggles and a red puffer jacket, dancing in the back of the bus holding his MVP trophy. With a crowd of over a million in the streets, confetti in the Chiefs’ red and gold colors flew all around. Complimentary beers, cigars, and high fives by Mahomes and Kelce were just some of the many surprises for the fans of Kansas City.
