Does Taylor Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris sway your vote, or is it just noise?

Kamala Harris’ reference to Taylor Swift’s songs has sent a fresh wave of adrenaline rush among Travis Kelce’s GF’s supporters! As Harris participated virtually in the annual Al Smith Dinner, the surprise appearance by a very famous SNL character made it truly entertaining. Molly Shannon’s iconic character, Mary Katherine Gallagher referred to Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake it Off’ in her performance. Kamala Harris chimed in the delight of the fans.

Diana Glebova, the NYPost 2024 presidential candidate reporter took to her X account to post a video of “Kamala Harris’ video for the Catholic Al Smith dinner.” As Harris was campaigning in Wisconsin whilst the dinner took place, she delivered her remarks virtually. The fan-favorite Mary Katherine Gallagher joined excitedly, in her classic schoolgirl uniform.

As Gallagher gave her impassioned monologue from House of the Dragon. Emphasizing, why we need women in leadership positions, she said, “Don’t you see, man? We need a woman to represent us. A woman brings more heart, more compassion, and think how smart she must be to become a top contender in a field dominated by men. It’s time for a woman, bro, and with this woman we can fly.”

And, when she further asks Harris if Trump’s remarks bother her during the comedic exchange, the VP quips in, “Oh Mary Katherine, it’s very important to always remember you should never let anyone tell you who you are. You tell them who you are.”

And, it is at this moment, Gallagher sings the iconic lines from Taylor Swift’s song, “Shake it Off,” i.e., “Haters gonna hate, hate, hate. Shake it off.” Harris also joined, singing the same track, finally acknowledging Swift’s endorsement.

Previously, Taylor Swift released her statement on September 11, stating, “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.” And, indeed, this comes amidst Trump’s subtle jabs against Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce.

Have an interesting take?

When Swift’s endorsement had come through, Donald Trump took to post his differences. He went on to declare “I hate Taylor Swift!” in a Truth Social post. That was right after Swift and Travis Kelce were spotted attending a baseball game together.

Not just this. Trump, in his latest appearance on Barstool Sports’ podcast “Bussin’ With The Boys,” made a scathing remark on Kelce. He said, “I didn’t particularly like having some guy that was lifting weights all day long and came from a bad neighborhood.” It perhaps hints towards an underlying rivalry, with Kelce bearing liberal-leaning endorsements.

Kelce is also involved with Pfizer, which is in stark contrast to Trump’s conservative platform. And, since both Swift and Kelce have a strong fan base, their endorsement is likely to have a solid influence in the presidential elections.
