The Packers’ journey in the season has been nothing short of an inspiration. And Jordan Love is the person who has been at the center of this experience. The proof of the same was witnessed when the Love-led team vied against the Cowboys. The display of prowess etched a historic triumph for the Green Bay Packers in the wildcard game on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys at 48-32.

About a month ago, the Lambeau team only had a 27% chance to make it to the playoffs. And now, the Packers have entered into the divisional round after, credit to the defeat they handed over to the Cowboys with an impressive 16 points difference. Last year, many “counted” them out of the season. However, when the team clinched the number 7 seed, the quarterback Love showcased that they weren’t the underdogs that critics were anticipating. Post the recent win, Love verbally also remarked concerning the same.

After the game against the Cowboys, the Packers quarterback, Jordan Love appeared in a press conference. He addressed many queries and highlighted the “fun” atmosphere of the locker room and how proud he was of the players in his team. Amidst this, one of the questions directed toward the QB was concerning the haters who “counted them out” continuously.

To this, the proud QB candidly replied, “It’s just noise. That’s the way everybody looks at it in the locker room — just outside noise. We’re not worried about it, we keep coming out here and showing what we’re about. That’s all we’re going to do.

His latest remarks proved that the Green Bay Packers are just focused on showcasing their ability on the field, and are aiming to win every upcoming game, irrespective of the criticism. The wildcard game victory against the Cowboys provided enough evidence of this motive of theirs. The most evident element of this triumph was the teamwork put forth by the men in green.

Not only Love but Aaron Jones and Romeo Doubs played a critical role for the team in scoring points. Additionally, Love was seen creating a video in which he proudly and happily expressed to his haters, “Lotta people counted us out, this team is going to keep going.” Thus, burying the hatchet on the purpose of the squad and their goal regarding the upcoming matches.

Jordan Love achieved a feat that both the previous QBs of Green Bay Packers—Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers—couldn’t accomplish. This involves guiding the Packers to the playoffs in his first season as the full time starting quarterback. Unlike Love, it took Favre and Rodgers their second year to achieve the feat. What makes this even more remarkable is that Love had started just one NFL game before this season, and guess what? That was two years ago. Furthermore, Love has also surpassed Favre and Rodgers in most passing touchdown stats this time.

Despite doubts about his future as the team’s starting quarterback halfway through the season, Love proved himself and led his team to the playoffs. And that’s why the team’s coach, Matt LaFleur seemed proud of the 25-year-old. LaFleur said, “He’s just resilient. Those are things you cannot coach…..I admire him for that, his ability to stay even keel, to battle through adversity, to lead our team.
