It’s been an eventful time for Fox Sports as the network has found itself amidst all the lawsuits and allegations drama. Likewise, the media personality and host for the network, Joy Taylor, has got herself caught up in too. However, despite the chaotic behind the scenes, the 37-year-old has found a way to divert the conversation toward something a little more uplifting. And let’s just say, it’s the kind of project that you want to take note of.

A few hours ago, Taylor took to her Instagram handle in the midst of the lawsuit and controversy and shared a story that grabbed everyone’s attention. Though it wasn’t some sort of opinion or a controversial post, but a guide to master the inner game of wealth building. Yeah, you’ve heard it right! Taylor shared a picture of the book You Deserve to Be Rich: Master The Inner Game Of Wealth And Claim Your Future.

Pretty interesting, huh? Well, in times like these, it actually sounds interesting to her. The book is published by Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings, who are the founders of the popular podcast, Earn Your Leisure. And if you’re wondering what all that noise is about that book, guess you’re about to find out.

As the title prefers, the book serves as a guide to mastering the inner game of wealth-building. It doesn’t matter what background a person comes from; the book aims to help them overcome financial obstacles. Cherry on the top: it also includes the real-life stories of individuals who are well-known for achieving financial success.

As a matter of fact, we can say that Taylor is all excited to add this to her TBR list. “Can’t wait to read this! Always proud,” she captioned her story while mentioning the authors. While you’re wondering, what’s with all the surrounding noise? Actually, things are more complicatedthan they seem with Fox.

Joy Taylor and Fox drama

Now, it wouldn’t be fair to ignore the elephant in the room. On Friday, Noushin Faraji, a former hairstylist at Fox Sports, filed a lawsuit against the network, making serious allegations of a toxic and abusive environment. Faraji alleged the sports columnist and commentator, Skip Bayless, for inappropriate behaviour to her even though she repeatedly turned him down.

On the flip side, Taylor, who’s working at Fox for years, has been mentioned in the lawsuit. As per the hairstylist, Taylor was one of the persons who didn’t seem to fully support her when she reported her concerns. In particular, Taylor told Faraji to “get over it”, as confirmed by the hairstylist in the suit.

Over and above that, the suit also alleges Taylor for insulting Ms. Faraji on a personal and professional level. And that came after their friendship was ended. Though it’s crucial to note that the suit didn’t directly accuse Taylor of any wrongdoing. However, it’s for re-examining the network’s culture and the role individuals like Taylor may have played in it.

As for Fox Sports, of course, the network released a statement, saying, “We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this pending litigation.” Given the sensitive nature of the lawsuit and its potential ramification, it seems unfair to mention who’s right or wrong here. As it stands, Joy Taylor surely wants to move on from all the drama. But the network is still facing serious questions about its internal culture.
