Since getting engaged in November last year, everyone has been waiting for their big day. But she couldn’t control her emotions seeing her hometown getting ravaged by the wildfires. It’s a heart-wrenching sight.

Los Angeles, the city of Hollywood, where people live luxurious lives, is battling wildfires spread across different areas such as Eaton and Pasadena. Many people saw their homes and other valuable possessions turned to ashes, their plight was unimaginable. Josh Allen’s fiancée took to Instagram to extend aid to them. She then shared links to several organizations that are helping the affected. It includes the LA Dream Center, helping anyone who walks up or drives up there. American Red Cross Society is helping the victims with food and shelter. California Fire Relief Organization is also helping the affected people. Salvation Army has also come ahead to help everyone.

Hailee Steinfeld requested her fans to donate to these organizations. More than 9,000 structures have been destroyed, displacing 1,79,000 people. The exact count has not been done yet. The fires have almost destroyed their entire lives. That may take a long time to get back to normal again.

The first responders and firefighters are doing everything they can to contain the fire. But it’s proving to be a mammoth task. Hailee even paid homage to them.

Hailee Steinfeld, while the world rightly focuses on helping the victims, also mentioned the fallen firefighters and their families in her IG story. She urged for donations to the California Fire Foundation, which helps them. The 15th edition of her newsletter, The Beau Society, also included the first responders and volunteers.

Josh Allen’s fiancée thanked those who are risking their lives to help the stranded public and wrote, “While I feel helpless and devastated, I’m so grateful for the firefighters, volunteers, and first responders risking their lives to help those in need.” That’s right. The entire nation is praying for the safety of the victims and the responders.

The disaster has forced the NFL to change its plans too. The RamsVikings wildcard playoff game on Monday, January 13, scheduled in the SoFi Stadium, has been relocated to the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Roger Goodell, the league commissioner, also provided support to the community, urging them to stay strong.

LA Chargers have already donated $200,000 to aid the efforts. In these moments of adversity, the football world unites to help everyone who needs it. That’s inspiring.
