Kobe Bryant taught others how to move on the hard court and left. But in the process, he had taught the whole world about the MAMBA MENTALITY. Now, as the Bills prepare to face the Rams, Josh Allen is stepping onto the gridiron carrying KB’s legacy.
Yup, that’s exactly what it is—quite literally! During the pregame sesh on the field, Allen stepped out in wearing the “Grinch” Kobe 6 cleats. SHEESH! Call it the cobras because those in green look solid. And here’s a little spoiler for you: they were released just a couple of weeks back on the 28th of November. Allen was quick with copping ’em. Guess he might be in a rush to drop the 81 game!
However, despite rocking such elite cleats, the Bills’ QB couldn’t seem to take his eyes off the GOAT Tom Brady. When Brady stepped on in his sleek: ‘Ready to Broadcast the game for you look,’ Allen did not miss a moment to check him out. Top to bottom. But the watch is where he stopped at. Well, well, well, if you find Allen rocking the exact similar watch as Brady’s, post-game, you know why.

Talking about bringing the A-Game… Well, the Bills fans would hope that Brady would have rubbed some of that TB12 genes onto Allen for a big night. But does he really need it? I mean, yes and no. Yes, because who doesn’t want a little Brady magic for themselves? But that’s that.
Now, no, because it’s clear as a daylight that Allen is the summit of the list of candidates who could win the 2024 NFL MVP. Even Brady can feel it in his bones that this could be Allen’s year!

Josh Allen: From a grade-schooler to a Chaos controller
Josh Allen on a sugar high? That’s how Tom Brady described him—yes, we are not exaggerating—during the Bills-Seahawks game. According to Brady, Allen used to “play like a spaz, like a grade-schooler on a sugar high.” Ouch, right?
What’s your perspective on:
Is Josh Allen channeling Kobe's Mamba Mentality or just trying to match Tom Brady's style?
Have an interesting take?
But hold up—Brady wasn’t throwing shade. He was tipping his hat to how Allen has tamed the storm, calling him “controlled chaos.” And after Sunday’s 31-10 win, you’d be hard-pressed to argue.
Let’s talk numbers. Allen went 24-of-34 for 283 yards and two touchdowns in that game. Oh, and just casually added 25 rushing yards because why not? The Bills still cruised, and Allen’s got the Bills cooking with MVP-level spice…February is not a far-fetched dream anymore.

Brady didn’t stop at sugar highs, either. He called Allen “a storm coming into town” and basically told the league: brace yourselves. Corny metaphors aside, Allen is that guy. Whenever Buffalo’s needed an OUT, he has provided from under center this season. Those 20 TDs to 5 INTs, is more like a ticket machine, punching the playoff hopes of the Bills.
