In the Week 18 clash, the Bills defeated fellow rivals Miami Dolphins 21-14 by staging a perfect comeback. With this victory, they have also reached the top of the AFC East. As sweet as it looks, the game was not all roses for the Bills. The team was lagging till the third quarter, and Allen accepted the situation during halftime.

The Dolphins took a 14-7 lead, and the Bills were in a precarious situation as Allen was intercepted two times in the first quarter itself, and the team was feeling the heat. As halftime arrived and they headed back to the locker room, the scene looked tense outside. Allen shared his insights on what happened inside the locker room.

In the post-match presser, Allen first admitted, “Feeling good.” He quickly addressed the first-half scenario and accepted, “You know, some stuff to clean up.” Talking about his interceptions that turned the game’s tide, “Turn the ball too many times.” On the exceptional comeback, he praised his team, “What a resilient group, so proud of our guys.”

He cited a great play by Deonte Harty that came at the right time and acknowledged that in “the final couple of drives, I feel like we found a groove.” He was good with the ball the whole year, but today, he realized he “got to be smarter with the ball.” After that, a reporter asked about the Dolphin’s play, “How deep did they dig second half?

He took a moment and appreciated the Dolphins for their performances this season. He acknowledged the Dolphins excel in both offense and defense, especially with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. He swiftly admitted, “Took all three phases tonight. “What was the mood as you went into that locker room?”

Allan responded with a four-word message, “We are beating ourselves.” He pointed out the first-half turnovers on their side, “Those are never good.” He admired his team’s resilience and hard work that led them to find “a way to win.” The Dolphins led the whole game, but a win from behind in the last week has shocked them.

The Bills have clipped the fins off the Dolphins

Hard Rock Stadium was preparing itself to celebrate a sure-shot victory till the third quarter, but the Bills had other plans. At the start of the fourth quarter, Deonte Henry sprinted from one end of the field to the other and scored a 96-yard touchdown that made the Bills come back into the game.

Dawson Know added the cherry on the cake by grabbing the ball at the end zone while sliding his feet as he fell outside the final line. After that, both the teams completed formalities, and the Bills won the last game of the regular season. Now the Bills will host the Steelers at home, and the Dolphins will go to the Arrowhead against the Chiefs in the Wild Card round next week.
