No one is happier right now than the Buffalo Bills after they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. At one point, we thought Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen were not going to play in this game. However, they came through and put up one heck of a match. The Bills are still 2 in the AFC East, but they have elevated themselves to a 5-3-win record.

Josh Allen recently came out to the media and gave his two cents on the game. So far, week 8 has been generous to the Buffalo team after the loss to the New England Patriots that left the team distraught. Apart from praising the opposition, the Bills QB1 reflected on his own team?s situation in the press conference.

Josh Allen is taking it one day at a time

Josh was asked about the loss against the Patriots and how it affected the team. He mentioned that the team is just trying to make that 1-0 each week and the last game was no different. He mentions that the team is halfway through the season and that everything that the Buffalo team wants is still in front of them.

Allen talks about hypothetical scenarios, as the team sure would have wished to lead by 7-0 or 8-0, but that is not the case, in reality, the team is 5-3. Allen mentioned that he is going to take one game at a time and is looking forward to the Sunday Night game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Upon being asked about his performance in the game, he was not scared to open up.

Allen?s exceptional performance?

Allen was asked by the reporter about his running touchdown, to which he mentioned that the space was open for him, he saw the opportunity and took off. Before that happened, Allen mentioned that he had taken a hit on his shoulder and did not want to risk it further. He mentions that he trusted his feet and legs when he saw that open space to run. He mentioned how his shoulders are very important to him as a QB and he wants to avoid injuries any way he can.

Allen had two touchdowns in this game and has passed for 324 yards with a completion rate of 77.5% and a QBR of 86. He completed 31 out of 40 passes but, he was sacked twice throughout the game. He has an RTG of 106.7, his highest so far in this season.
