Jordan Love, becoming the highest-paid player in the NFL, changed his life in more than one way. Dianna Russini of The Athletic went to the Green Bay Packers training camp and she spoke to Love about how his contract has changed his life. In the process, Love revealed some good news, and it’s not football-related at all.

Apparently, the cheeseheads signal-caller is getting married next year. However, there was a change in plans, are Love got a huge wad of cash coming in his way. He revealed it all to The Athletic journalist when she asked him the details of how the process has been going so far.

“June 22,” said Jordan Love when Dianna picked his mind about the wedding. Due to the tough and busy schedule, the Packers didn’t get a lot of time to check on the preparations of it and his fiancé Ronika Stone is handling it all for now. “I mean, she was handling all that. I was in camp, so there’s not much time for me.”

Dianna Russini then fired a million-dollar question to Jordan Love’s way by asking him, “You just got a brand-new contract. You’re the highest paid player in the NFL. How much does your wedding budget change?” It looks like the question caught Jordan Love off guard and he started laughing and others followed.

Without saying too much and maintaining the sanctity of his future marriage, Love replied, “It does, it does.” It would be a monumental memory for Jordan Love if he and the Packers somehow manage to win the Super Bowl and he then proceeds to marry the love of his life. If anything, it would make up for an amazing story for Love to tell his kids in the future.

Well, the $75 million signing bonus from his 4-year $220 million might help him throw an amazing wedding, maybe up in the mountains like Malibu, just like his teammate Christian Watson. The couple already got engaged! So, let’s talk about that.

Jordan Love lays a foundation for a happy life

About 8 weeks ago, Jordan Love and Ronika Stone went to Italy for a European getaway and when they came back, Ronika had an engagement ring on her finger. Who could say no to a ring in that setting? He uploaded a carousel of photos on Instagram with a caption, “First step to forever 💍❤️.” Four years of his relationship culminating into that moment looked beautiful.

There’s a photo that caught our eye. Love is on his knees while proposing to Stone and she’s just holding back tears. The backdrop of the 13 century Italian castle made the moment a hundred times more picturesque. Even Christian Watson and his wife Lakyn Watson commented on the post, saying, “Yessssirrrrr! Congrats! 🍾,” and “so happy for yall  😭.”

Wedding is still far away, however, lucky for us, football season is not. Last year, Jordan Love proved why he deserved every cent of that $220 million contract. Hopefully, he has a stellar season this year.
