Jordan Love and Aaron Rodgers have always had each other’s backs. And that hasn’t changed even after Rodgers moved to the Jets. Their bond, built over years in Green Bay is still strong, which can be seen when they talk about each other. This connection is back in the spotlight after Love defended Rodgers on being criticized by the media.
They have known each other since Rodgers was with the Packers, and Love has always seen him as a mentor. He described A-Rod as a hard-working person who pushes his teammates but also knows how to have fun. He also mentioned he doesn’t understand why the media dislikes Rodgers. When talking to a reporter, Jordan said, “He definitely, you know, might be misunderstood in the media. People say a lot of different things, but a lot of people don’t know him at the same time.” Telling the respect for him grows when you meet Aaron personally.
It’s never easy replacing a legend.
It’s even harder when you’re sharing a practice field with him… or is it?

The media often doesn’t like Aaron Rodgers because of his carefree behavior. And it became obvious after the drama about him skipping a mandatory minicamp for a vacation he thought was important. Despite the head coach Robert Saleh saying they were “on the same page” the media went wild. However, even if an outsider may not always like Aaron Rodgers, he’s a fantastic player.
Rodgers has a record of 28 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions during his first year as a starter in 2008. He won Super Bowl XLV MVP in 2011 and his first NFL MVP award that same year. The QB had an impressive career with the Green Bay Packers (2005–2022). And even though Aaron could not play with the Jets in 2023, because of an injury, the team is confident he will not be a part of sidelines this year, but help them on the field. Apart from the stats, his former teammates acknowledge his skills and his behavior. Like, Valdes-Scantling said, “Man, he’s one of the greatest you’ll ever find,” about A-Rod’s skills on the field.

In 2021, he praised Davante Adams, saying, “He’s the best receiver in the league. He’s as good as I’ve ever played with,” showing his admiration for Adams’ skills. And when the topic is Jordan, Aaron goes all out to praise him.
