A horrific, unsettling news has taken over the city of Nashville and this time, the Tennessee Titans are involved. While the players are away for one final vacation, their home stadium is under investigation by the police and the reason is distressing. The Nashville Metro Police Department is involved, and people are being questioned.

Multiple sources suggest that human remains were found in the Nissan Stadium and have the police and citizens running around in circles. For now, the cause of death is not known but in due time, we might get to know the reason behind the gruesome discovery. Credits to bystanders, the police discovered what was unfolding at the venue.

The remains of an unidentified homeless man were found inside a tent near Lot M, and reportedly, this person hasn’t been seen for the last couple of days. The body of the deceased was discovered near a tarp but was unwrapped. As of Wednesday afternoon, there have been efforts to know the identity of the deceased. Dove Kleiman states on X, “No foul play is suspected, per the Metro Nashville Police.”

The Police clarified to NewsChannel 5 that the body was indeed not covered in the tarp, but the tarp was found nearby. For now, the remains are being studied by a medical examiner. Per reports, the people who knew him have been trying to locate the deceased for the past couple of days.

It’s noteworthy that this roadblock came months after the Titans decided to renovate the Nissan Stadium heavily. For now, the Titans players have not been practicing after their OTAs and minicamps but will return before the 2024 season starts.

A couple of months ago, chilling news came from Indianapolis and bodies as old as a century have started showing up. Suddenly the construction of a $1.5 billion American soccer club Indy Eleven’s new stadium came to a halt.

It’s not right to compare human plight, but what’s happening in Indy is way more disturbing. Evergreen Park recorded 87 instances of human remains and the construction is halted for the new stadium of Indy’s own MLS Franchise Indy Eleven. But, what is the reason behind the discovery of so many dead bodies? That’s because the stadium is being constructed in the vicinity of Greenlawn Cemetery, which first opened in 1821.

The cemetery was closed for new burials in 1890 and was completely abandoned 40 years later. It was in May 2023 when the franchise announced its plans for the construction of a new stadium in order to lure more MLS franchises into Indianapolis. But, unsettling things started taking shape just a few months later. In December 2023, human remains were discovered for the first time and surprisingly that is not all.

Hundreds of more remains are expected to be found in the coming time within the facility. However, the citizens are concerned about the remains of the deceased and are appealing that something should be done to preserve these bodies.

“As we have learned more about the site, the city has sought to take an active role in an effort to right the wrongs committed more than a century ago when the resting place of Indianapolis’ first residents were erased from the map and paved over,” chief of staff to the Indianapolis mayor Dan Parker wrote in a letter obtained by IndyStar.

However, the city and its welfare have decided to run extensive preliminary checks before undertaking any such project to protect the history and heritage of the place. While the investigation is underway for the estimated $1.5B stadium, the remains found at Nissan Stadium are also under severe interrogation, as fans and citizens await more details concerning the same.
