Will the Ravens' all-in strategy with Harbaugh and Jackson lead to a Super Bowl run?

The Ravens are introspecting. The trade deadline will close on November 5 at 4 pm ET. A big relieving point for the Ravens Flock is that their head coach, John Harbaugh, and MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson are working together to get the best for the team. They are locked. All-in!

The Purple Pain has already added wide receiver Diontae Johnson to help their quarterback win matches. HC also talked to the media on November 4 about the trade expectations. He revealed that GM Eric DeCosta has an excellent communication method with him. Harbaugh later mentioned that he was focused on the week 10 matchup against the Bengals on November 7.

Their strategy has been simple. Acquire the players who can play from this season. It showed when John Harbaugh added Diontae Johnson after acquiring him. He is on the active roster now. Though he didn’t start against the Broncos, the WR did play in the game. A fresh boost from an experienced player will also encourage the locker room.

There is also an excellent strategy behind it. Lamar Jackson’s performance has been top-notch. They have lost no game with a 10-point difference while two of their wins came with more than 25 points. The coach senses they have a good chance of winning the Super Bowl if they keep their focus.

The season is halfway done and during this period, the HC also kept a close introspection of his 2024 draft signees.

John Harbaugh describes Ravens ‘rookies’ in one word

During the presser, the reporters inquired to the coach regarding the rookies. The first word that came out of his mouth gave the answer, which was ‘growing.’ However, he quickly pointed out how some rookies became injured, thus affecting their journeys. That’s an interesting yet positive update for the fans.

CB Nate Wiggins showed his mettle against the Cowboys in the week 3 matchup. The forced fumble against CeeDee Lamb helped them win the game. OT Roger Rosengarten showed promise during the practice camp and John Harbaugh didn’t think for a second time before adding him to the active roster. CB TJ Tampa has been on the Injured Reserve (IR) list since the season started. It’s a good season till week 9.

In their division AFC North, the Ravens are in 2nd position behind the Steelers. HC and QB would certainly ponder on moving to the top of the table. The Steelers have a 6-2 win-loss record while the Ravens have a 6-3 win-loss record. It’s not out of reach, but it wouldn’t be straightforward for them either.

For now, the eyes are on November 5. The ultimate day of the trade window will be exciting. Expect some unexpected moves. We’ll keep reporting those to you.
