What’s Joe Burrow cooking this season? Whatever that is, the NFL cannot handle his heat. Just a week after breaking his own Bengals’ TD passes record (36). Burrow was at it again. This time, he set an NFL record that none of the other QBs in the league ever managed to do so. He left behind Tom Brady to record his seventh consecutive game for throwing at least 250 yards and three TDs. But Mr. Joe Cool isn’t just showing off his skills on the field. He knows how to play the Instagram game as well. Let’s just say his post-game flex was a chef’s kiss.
Well, that kind of historic achievement deserves a little celebration, don’t you think? Or maybe even a subtle flex. So, taking to his Instagram, the Bengals QB shared a few snaps from Sunday’s game against the Browns. And, Of course, the former LSU graduate didn’t forget to put his gravity-defying TD pass to Tee Higgins as his first pic of the bunch. Burrow also gave the caption, “Professional play maker,” showing off what he achieved in Cincinnati this week.
Burrow’s 3 TD passes on Sunday meant he leads Lamar Jackson 39-37 with two weeks remaining. You could be wondering whether Burrow is only leading the end zone charts this season. He is also a leader in passing yards with 4,229 besides his name. And while doing so the Bengals QB has managed to keep his team’s playoff hopes alive.

Cincinnati is still on the hunt for the postseason after their third straight win on Sunday. However, they will have to win their remaining games against the Broncos and Steelers. Otherwise, Burrow’s sensational campaign this season will end in the regular season itself. Now, the Bengals QB can make more history if he continues to pull such numbers in the final two weeks. Yes, you heard right. It will be record after record broken if Burrow continues to throw 3 TDs. Right now, the 28-year-old is on par with Hall of Famer Dan Marino with seven consecutive 3 TD games.
At the top is Tom Brady with 10, whom he just left behind with Sunday’s record. His next targets would be Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck, who had 8 straight games with at least 3 TDs. Besides all those records, Tee Higgins had a perfect nickname for his QB after he left everyone awestruck with his 37th TD this season.

Tee Higgins wants everyone to call Joe Burrow Superman
Joe Burrow pulled off something that he may not have ever dreamt of in his NFL career. You can usually find Burrow throwing TD passes in the air. But did you ever witness him trying to throw one while falling on the ground? You didn’t, right? Neither did any QB before him in the league’s 104-year history. However, Burrow made your wildest imagination come true during the first quarter against the Browns. While Burrow had his pocket collapsed around him, he couldn’t maintain his alignment and stumbled on the ground.
But while he was already on his knees, the Bengals QB used his presence of mind. He found his receiver Tee Higgins standing in the end zone for the game’s first TD. Well, the officials in Cincinnati were also flabbergasted by what had just happened as they checked the replays. And guess what? His TD stood because none of the defenders made contact with him. This led Tee Higgins to change Joe Burrow’s previous nickname as he expressed, “M———- looked like Superman when he was throwing it. I’m calling him Superman from this day forward. F— Batman, Superman.”

Now, we can’t really argue with Tee Higgins there. Because Superman may be the perfect word to describe Joe Burrow right now. What he is pulling off every week since the Bengals’ slow start to the season needs to be studied. Is he really human? Or did the Bengals have a superhero hiding under Joe Burrow’s body?
