Oh Man, What a win! The Cincinnati Bengals were top-notch in their Week 17 matchup. And, after defeating the Broncos in overtime, it appears that the squad can still make the playoffs. They now have 8 wins and 8 defeats, and along with the Colts and Dolphins, they too are still eyeing for a playoff spot. And, while the team still has a huge task ahead of them, it appears that QB Joe Burrow is chill about the next game. In fact, the man has even given a warning. Ah-oh Drama alert!
Well, for those who missed it, this happened during the postgame conference following the Week 17 game. Joe Burrow was addressing a few questions and in between he mentioned how the team was feeling. The man indicated that after this victory, they would party for the day. But after that, they will be returning to their normal routine. So they can beat Russell Wilson’s Steelers on their turf. The QB in his statement said, “We knew we still had a chance we just had to go and win out. You know it’s a big win but we will enjoy tonight and then you know take a step back settle ourselves and then move on to the task in hand next week going to Pittsburgh and trying to win that game.”
While the quarterback’s confidence is positive and encouraging for his team, the Steelers are not a team to underestimate. The squad has already secured the Wild Card for the playoffs, and they do not want to lose momentum at this last minute. Furthermore, it will be on their home soil, where they are 5-2 in this season.
