Home/NFL

For the first time, the NFL is flexing a Thursday game, making it one of the biggest reschedulings in history. Joe Burrow’s team, the Cincinnati Bengals, will now not play their Week 16 game at their previous timings, as they have been moved from TNF to that Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. This news has created a buzz among NFL fans. However, Burrow’s teammate is more concerned about another important part of his life.

Joe Burrow’s backup, Jake Browning, recently announced a major life update. He shared a story on his official Instagram account, where he can be seen kneeling on one knee in front of his girlfriend, Stephanie Niles. Yes! He is proposing to her.

This post was originally shared by Niles. The lovebirds could be seen posing for some romantic pictures for their beautiful and memorable photo album. As Browning is seen proposing to Niles with a beautiful diamond ring, his girlfriend appears surprised & emotional at the proposal. In the post shared by Niles, she wrote, “HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!!!!!” with diamond ring emojis.

Joe Burrow’s teammate can be seen wearing a white outfit, while on the other hand, his girlfriend donned a black attire for the day. In the carousel post by Niles, the couple was sharing a kiss and hugging in another photo, which surely melted the hearts of many. Browning commented on the photo with a black heart emoji.

Notably, the pair started dating in 2018, and met while they were students at the University of Washington. And since then Niles has been a huge support for the QB, except for that one time she broke up—during the couple’s five-year anniversary last year, Browning had shared an Instagram post captioned, “Remember when we agreed we weren’t going to date? Or when we finally started dating we agreed we were going to break up when you moved to NYC in 2018…? 5 years, 4 different time zones and 14 different moves later here we are.Whether it’s a fancy dinner party or a dive bar in Folsom, you move through life with a contagious energy and I can’t imagine where’d I’d be without my mob wife.” Well, safe to say the couple has weathered the storm pretty well.

For the unversed: As per Niles’ LinkedIn account, she’s a B.A. in accounting and information systems from the University of Washington. Currently, she works in the finance department at a vehicle manufacturing company, DECKER. In addition to that, she’s also the co-founder of a luxury sustainable swimwear label, 7th Street Swim.

The young businesswoman and influencer’s run-in with fame was catapulted in January this year when she went viral. While her boyfriend closed out the last game of the Bengals’ regular season as starting quarterback, Niles caught the community’s attention for her all-white bodysuit featuring her beau’s name and number in glittery lettering. Talking about the heightened media attention, Niles had mentioned at the time: “When you’re in the box, you can not tell if the camera is on you. I’m happy they captured something that was not totally embarrassing. But, yeah…did not expect that level of reaction.”

NFL flexed Joe Burrow’s team’s game next month?

It’s probably one of the major mid-season changes! On Friday, the NFL announced that they are going to move Joe Burrow’s Bengals clash with another team’s battle. The Week 16, via CBS Sports, “Between the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals will be flexed out of “Thursday Night Football” and replaced with the Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers.”
