Joe Burrow would have mixed feelings seeing the Bengals‘ week 11 injury report. Two of his most dependable soldiers, WR Ja’Marr Chase and WR Tee Higgins have two different statuses as the big game against the Ravens approaches. While Chase looks promising for this week’s clash, thanks to his last week’s performance, the same cannot be said for Tee Higgins.
Last week, despite the concerns surrounding Chase, he made a noticeable contribution against the Texans. Alas! It was not enough for the team to register a win. Now, that more uncertainty looms Burrow-led squad, it might cost the 4th-placed Bengals against the AFC North table toppers. Or, will it though?

Joe Burrow misses out on Tee Higgins
In the week 11 injury report released by the Bengals, WR Tee Higgins did not participate in the practice session on Tuesday. It was due to the hamstring injury that has been concerning the football player for some time now. Due to this, he was not in the squad against the Texans, which the Bengals lost by 27-30.

Consequently, his status on the official team report is reflected as specified which might create problems for Joe Burrow and Co. Additionally, DE Sam Hubbard appears to be on a worse bandwidth and did not practice for consecutive days, due to the concerns surrounding his ankle.
Ja’Marr Chase and his coming back to the team after a serious back issue added some positivity to the team. However, last week’s game did not vouch for the same. But the Bengals will look forward to his expertise in their next gameplay. It will be interesting to see the Burrow-led side’s new strategy to avoid another narrow-margin defeat in their upcoming weekend.
Amidst the injury report talk, eyes drift to the other side on how the Ravens are looking at the moment with their report coming out. And matters don’t look extremely favorable for them, if not worse.

Lamar Jackson’s Ravens are in worse condition than Burrow’s side
The AFC North toppers are coming off a defeat against the Browns, their third of the season. But that is the less concerning part, the real trouble lies in their injury report for week 11. WR Odell Beckham Jr. and OLB Jadeveon Clowney are on the worse side of things as both missed out on Tuesday’s practice.
Although a few more names improved on their DNP status from Monday, things don’t promise to get better against the Bengals. While Tee Higgins’ practice unavailability counterbalances ODJ’s miss, the added names make the game a bigger challenge for the Ravens than the Bengals.

Unless Lamar Jackson turns on the CJ Stroud mode against Joe Burrow and Co., it is always going to be harder to win the battle on defensive prowess. Especially with many of the Ravens’ defensive names still questionable. Is that going to help the last-placed Bengals to any extent?
