What a crazy ending to the Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Bengals game. Not in a million years did we think that game would end up in the Bengals’ favor, but here we are. The Cowboys made a questionable decision to block the Bengals’ punt and ended up paying the price instead. While Joe Burrow was happy, the same can’t be said about Micah Parsons.
The Cowboys’ edge rusher walked away from the field on his own. What else could he have done after contributing two QB hits to the Cowboys’ defense? The media was quick to catch Joe Burrow on the sideline and asked him what he thought of the second chance he received to beat the Dallas Cowboys. “We needed a break,” Burrow said.
He added, “We haven’t got many this year, but, It was nice to get down, nice to come out of this with a win.” Ultimately, it was all about the game-sealing pass that Joe Burrow threw to his teammate, Ja’Marr Chase, after recovering the ball from the Dallas Cowboys. The reporter wanted to know more about the call on that game-winning TD and the QB didn’t hesitate to spill the beans.

“Find Ja’Marr, he was playing off over there. You know, we’ve repped that route a bunch, you know, was able to throw it back inside shoulder so he could turn it up the field. You know, that’s a rep that we talk about a lot so he can make some plays after the catch and he went and did what he does,” Burrow said on the game-winning TD.
Burrow made it out with a whopping 369 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. His receiver, Ja’Marr Chase, who scored the game-winning TD scored twice overall, amassing 177 receiving yards. Chase Brown also had a receiving touchdown. The game ended with 27-20 on the board and this time, the Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons looked more upset than any other player on the Cowboys roster.
Joe Burrow’s effect on Micah Parsons
Burrow took two sacks tonight and none of them came from Micah Parsons. However, he did record two QB hits, though. Initially, the Cowboys LB was throwing tantrums on the sideline and the only words his mouth could utter were, “Bro!” Parsons left the game even before the time expired, which really shows that the Cowboys lack solidarity somewhere.

“It was definitely a huge momentum shift. I mean, we just caught a huge stop. We’re going to two-minute drill. It’s just real hard to… You think to believe you can pull that game out from that situation… That hurts,” Parsons said after the game.

With this, the Bengals have dragged the Dallas Cowboys to their level and both teams are 5-8 now. Safe to say they aren’t making the playoffs. Jerry Jones was incredibly excited as he hosted the Salvation Army game with the kettle out and everything. Little did he know his team would get embarrassed like that by the end of it all.
