The Chargers are finally looking good. Under Jim Harbaugh, they have looked like a dominant force. And they are not taking things lightly, even with 2 weeks remaining. After week 16, they are 6th in the AFC and look set to qualify for the playoffs. The HC wants to enter the postseason on a winning note.

While talking to the reporters, the coach revealed their preparation for the week 17 game against the Patriots. He praised the rivals and said, “Drake Maye in the Patriots, really good. I mean, they’re playing extremely well. Saw what they did this past weekend, outstanding defense. Drake Maye is progressing into being a really (good) quarterback.” That’s right. Jim Harbaugh gave a clear message to the Chargers’ defense that they need to play their best game if they want to win the game.

Though the Pats lost the week 16 matchup against the Bills by 21-24, they gave tough competition. Drake Maye outpaced Josh Allen in every department. While he recorded 22 of 36 passes (61.1% completion rate) in 260 passing yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception, the Bills QB had 16 of 29 passes (55% completion rate) in 154 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception.

However, Jim Harbaugh would be hoping for Justin Herbert to come up with his plans. The Pats QB has also performed well under the pressure. In 15 games this year so far, he has scored 18 touchdowns while allowing only 3 interceptions. This means that the O-line has done well in protecting its signal caller. That’s a good sign.

While the Chargers would be hoping for a win and advance into the playoffs, the Pats would try to derail Los Angeles’ season. The game would be intense. Fans are excited.

Dobbins recorded 158 attempts for 766 yards in 11 games this year with 8 touchdowns. As he practiced on Monday, the expectations of him playing in the week 17 matchup against the Patriots also increased. But we would have to wait for the game to see if he plays or not.
