Imagine a scenario where the Jets get their hands on a Jalen Hurts clone. QB drama? Over. Vibes? Check. Super Bowl trip? Confirmed. Lombardi? Inevitable. Once a franchise that never had a proper QB other than Joe Namath (no disrespect to Aaron Rodgers) could actually move on from being the laughing stock in the NFL. To be honest, the Jets QB room has always given the vibes of Dunder Mifflin from the Office. Always hyped up for a bright future with no real substance. Like when it’s time for them to deliver, the whole thing turns into pure chaos. However, this season could be different because of someone from the University of Alabama. He might have struck accord with the Jets and could solve their QB woes once and for all.
At the NFL combine, where QBs try to capture the top franchises’ attention. Alabama’s QB have definitely caught the eye of Jets QB coach Charles London. As per the eyes on the ground in Indy, London was invested in putting Jalen Milroe through a workout while other QBs were running.
You know what this could mean. There’s a growing possibility the Jets could end up drafting Milroe as their next franchise QB. Because if they weren’t really interested in him. Why would London privately work with Milroe instead of other QBs at the Combine?

Good #Jets nugget from @TDavenport_NFL, who is on the ground in Indy: Jets QBs coach Charles London put Alabama QB Jalen Milroe through a workout while the other QBs were running.

But the question is, will they really use their No. 7 overall pick on Milroe? I mean he does have the traits of becoming the next Jalen Hurts. Like Bleacher Report’s Dame Parson noted, “Shades of Jalen Hurts with a jet pack and stronger arm.” Parson also added, “Milroe projects as a QB prospect that should sit instead of being a Day 1 starter in the NFL. His passing skill needs to be improved before anyone can be comfortable with him being viewed as the future of a franchise.” Actually, I feel, Parson was trying to point out Milroe’s last two seasons for the Crimson Tide.
In 2023, Milroe threw for 2,834 yards, 23 TDs and just 6 INTs. Now, he also chipped in with 531 rushing yards and 12 scores on the ground. However, his final season in Alabama wasn’t really great for Milroe in terms of an accurate passer. He completed only 64.3% of his passes for 2,844 passing yards, 16 TDs and a career-high 11 INTs. But his numbers on the ground painted a different picture. Milroe tore defenses with his legs rushing for 726 yards and 20 TDs.
So, anything could happen by the time this year’s draft comes around. Either Milroe will be picked by the Jets early in the first round. Or they could wait and use a later pick like No.92 overall for someone who still has lots of room to grow. And while the Jets continue to search for their Aaron Rodgers replacement. Looks like he could do the funniest thing ever by wearing Big Blues next season.

Is Aaron Rodgers to Giants really possible?
See, the Giants hold the No.3 overall which they could use on anybody. This could be either Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders or someone else. But considering they don’t draft a young QB like Sanders, the Giants may have to settle for a veteran QB. After Matthew Stafford decided to stay in LA, options are limited for the Giants. Maybe that’s why they have ramped up their interest in signing Aaron Rodgers.
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported on Friday that the Giants are shifting their attention to Rodgers. Like the Giants have also contacted Rodgers’ camp about the possibility of signing him. Well, there’s no guarantee that Rodgers could even return at 41.

However, the way his chapter as a Jet ended, he might have one last hurrah left in him. Because there’s no way he would allow two years of misery, shadow 18 years of glam he had before joining Gang Green. And the Giants could actually benefit a lot from Rodgers. Yes, he might not be a long-term solution. But at least he could guide a young prospect like Sanders if the Giants do use the No.3 overall for him. Considering the Giants do sign Rodgers, it would be absolutely hilarious if he also succeeds wearing the Big Blues. Then, we could say one thing for sure: The Jets QB room could actually be cursed, you know?
