The Jets last went to playoffs in 2010, their trade of Rodgers last season from the Green Bay Packers signifies a positive momentum. And the Jets have outlined two key requirements for this season. According to GM Joe Douglas, “Protection for Rodgers is paramount”!
And the former 2X Super Bowl champion Booger McFarland outlined the way the Jets can help Rodgers. “I think that’s got to be paramount”, said Booger on ESPN.
And fortunately for the Jets, not only do they have a good spot in the first round for the upcoming NFL 2024 Draft. But they also have a generational talent like Bowers, willing and eager to join because of Rodgers!
The Jets can attract genius on the back of Rodgers
“There’s three different avenues that we can do this right. Trade, trade free agency, and draft”, said GM Douglas to the press. And they’ll be helped by Rodgers’ name in all three avenues. Since tight end Bowers has already professed his admiration for A-Rod.
