Woody Johnson, the owner of the New York Jets football team, has expressed strong support for former President Donald Trump’s potential return to the presidency. In a recent appearance on Fox, Johnson lauded Trump, emphasizing the positive impact he believes Trump’s leadership could have.

Johnson’s remarks centered on his belief in Trump’s presidency. He also highlighted Trump’s compassionate nature and sense of humor, traits that Johnson feels are often overlooked by the public. In the interview, the Jets’ owner hinted at his potential involvement in Trump’s inner circle if he were to win another term.

Woody Johnson applauds Trump’s governance

Woody stated, “And I think the world will be a safer and better place. There will be less crime. He’s extremely compassionate. People don’t know that. He’s extremely funny. I think people are starting to appreciate his sense of humor.” Woody Johnson also suggested that Trump had impressed those present during the interview, indicating that many were prepared to support him in his endeavors.

The remarks made by Johnson reflect his confidence in Trump’s leadership abilities and his belief that Trump’s presidency would bring about positive change. It’s been rumoured as per @uSTADIUM X post that Johnson would join Trump’s inner team if Trump were to win the presidency again.

As per CNBC, Johnson’s support for Trump extends to lobbying fellow Republican mega-donors to contribute to Trump’s campaign. He is actively engaging with influential donors to persuade them to support Trump’s bid for the presidency in 2024. “The sales pitch from team Johnson has been ‘it’s going to be Trump based on the polling. Are you just not going to get on the train as Trump heads to be the nominee?” a Republican fundraiser told CNBC.

While Woody Johnson is supporting Trump, his QB Aaron Rodgers is seemingly endorsing Robert Kennedy Jr.’s presidential bid for 2024.

The 39-year-old shared a promotional clip for an interview featuring Kennedy on his friend Aubrey Marcus’ podcast, adding the hashtag “kennedy2024” to his Instagram stories. Kennedy, known for his scepticism towards vaccines, has filed paperwork to challenge President Biden for the Democratic nomination.

This endorsement adds to Rodgers’ history of controversies, including issues surrounding his COVID-19 vaccination status. Initially stating he was “immunized,” Rodgers later tested positive for COVID-19, revealing he hadn’t received the vaccine. He cited concerns about vaccine ingredients and side effects as reasons for his decision to pursue alternative treatments.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., son of former US Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, has gained prominence as a vocal opponent of vaccines. His presidential campaign received a boost from Rodgers’ endorsement, further highlighting the intersection of sports and politics in contemporary discourse.
