Is Jerry Jones' stubbornness hurting the Cowboys' performance, or is it a strategic home-field advantage?

Another day. Another Jerry Jones-related controversy. Well, the billionaire has always been regarded as someone who likes things done his way. The man does not care about others, and he believes that his plans are always correct. However, many people complain to him about certain things. But Jones remains unbothered, and has shown similar behavior by rejecting his WR’s request.

For those who don’t know, CeeDee Lamb made a request to Jerry Jones a few days ago. The man requested that the open roof of the Cowboys ‘Taj Mahal’ should not be present. It doesn’t help the players, and the Sun is readily visible. As a result, the football sometimes overlaps the sun and is not visible. The wide receiver requested that the stadium be demolished and a new one constructed.

Well, Jones threw that suggestion right out of the gridiron: “Of all the things that we need to improve, that is way down the list of improvement. That stadium was built to feel like you’re outdoors.

The Cowboys owner further clarfied his stance on not choosing to make any changes to the stadium, stating, “Every venue has certain things that at certain ways and times can create an advantage. That really goes under the category of home-field advantage. It should be an advantage to the home team. … It has been an advantage for us to know where the sun is. I don’t want to change that.”

The billionaire does not desire a change because of the legacy that the AT&T Stadium has. He believes that the sunroof helps everyone determine what time it is by watching the sun’s position. Furthermore, because the space is already fully air-conditioned, fans may not be disturbed by the heat. However, it is not the fans who have been complaining about the sun; it is players such as CeeDee Lamb. Let’s take a look at his complaint more properly this time.

CeeDee Lamb has a very compelling argument against Jerry Jones.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Jerry Jones' stubbornness hurting the Cowboys' performance, or is it a strategic home-field advantage?

Have an interesting take?

While the billionaire has refused to modify or amend the stadium’s construction. The WRs are still struggling a lot in the field of the stadium right now. Lamb is one of those, as he must maintain a steady working focus on the ball. And while he is doing it, the sun distracts him and greatly disrupts his concentration on the ball.

The WR has some strong words to make his demands known. Per CeeDee Lamb, “We know where the sun is going to be when we flip the coin, so we do know where the damn sun is going to be in our own stadium. Let’s just tear the da*n stadium down and build another one. Are you kidding me?”

After hearing both sides of the story, it’s clear that something needs to be altered at the Cowboys’ ‘Taj Mahal’. However, if these changes are to occur, Jones must consider the demands of others. What are your thoughts about this situation? Do you believe the Cowboys owner will ever modify the stadium?
